Prophetic Voice |
||
|
"Why Prophecy?" by Bobbie Jean Merck “But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted” (First Corinthians 14:3,31). First Corinthians 14:3,31 promises us that prophecy has a God-given purpose in the Church today. Without prophecy we lose vision, focus, expectation, and fire. For “Where there is no vision, the people perish…” (Proverbs 29:18a). One translation says perish also means is made naked. That means the glory is not present to cover the people. |
