ALL
By Bobbie Jean Merck
Have you ever considered the simple, three letter word ALL? Today in my time of fellowshipping with the Lord, that word leaped off the page and exploded in my spirit. I began to rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. How could such a small word release such joy? Because God tells us so many times in His Word what He has done for us in ALL ways and things.
These promises have their beginning and their ending in the Lord Jesus Christ. "You know the contents of the message which He sent to Israel announcing the good news (Gospel) of peace by Jesus Christ, Who is Lord of ALL... " (Acts 10:36
The Amplified Bible).
Because we are in Christ, and He is in us, and His Words abide in us, every promise of God is "yes and amen" ~ you can have it!
How easy it is to praise the Lord for these very provisions in ALL that pertains to a rich life in this earth. "Blessed be God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with ALL the spiritual blessings of heaven in Christ" (Ephesians 1:3
The Jerusalem Bible).
Someone might be challenged and wonder, "But doesn't that mean we have to wait until we get to heaven to richly enjoy ALL these
blessings?" The answer is, "No." Jesus wants the Kingdom of God
and the will of God to be done in earth now just as it is in heaven. When we became a citizen of heaven,
we became the recipients of heaven's provisions in the earth today. God is our
complete source,
not the world and its system. "And it is He who will supply ALL your needs from His riches in glory, because of what Christ Jesus has done for you" (Philippians 4: 19 The Bible From 26 Translations).
Because this word came so powerfully to me I chose to pursue some of its meanings. J.I. Rodale's
The Synonym Finder gave the following synonyms for the word ALL: adj. 1. entire, whole, total, integral,
the sum of, complete, full; every, each, each and every; any, any whatever, any
and every; only,
nothing but, nothing except -n. 2. whole, total, aggregate, sum, sum total, entirety, integer, allness, comprehensiveness, universality; totality; everything, everyone, everybody.
The meaning I found in The Linguistic_Key To_The_Greek_New Testament by Fritz Rienecker and
Cleon Rogers is the one that exploded in me. In Philippians 4:19 "in glory" is used here as an adverb
indicating the mode or manner of the fulfillment "gloriously", i.e. in such wise that His glory
will be manifested (Vincent).
Hallelujah! In other words, as God meets ALL our needs, He will do it in such a way that you and everyone else will see the glorious provision He has provided.
His provision of your need will be glorious! It will reflect His glory! His provision for you will be
magnificent, excellent triumphant prosperity!
As Ephesians 1:3 tells us "He has blessed us with ALL the spiritual
blessings of heaven," in Him we cannot fail.
To be blessed in this verse means to endow one with the ability to succeed. It is time to renew our mind
and strengthen our faith in ALL these blood bought covenant promises. Indeed, we are to receive
God's provisions so that people will find occasion and reason for praising God!
After receiving this quickening on the word ALL, I awoke three days later with my spirit declaring,
"We will not fall short of Your glory". Following this was Philippians 4:
19, "And this same God who takes care of me will supply ALL your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus" (The New Living Translation).
Then, like brilliant sunlight bursting in my soul I heard, "Let your wealth be the visible manifestation of the glory of God. "
Now saints, I knew those words were the Hebrew meaning of Proverbs 3:9, "Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of ALL thine
increase." God had used the quickening revelation
of that scripture to be the catalyst for becoming totally debt
free years ago. So now I was seeing
Romans 1 :23; Philippians 4: 19; and Proverbs 3:9 absolutely put together by the Holy Spirit for me, A Great Love, and you for RIGHT NOW!
Being completely interested in receiving ALL could from the Lord at this time, I again looked up a fuller explanation of Romans 3:23. To fall short of the glory means to come too late, to miss, to fail to reach,
to be lacking the glory - God's glory. It is failing to live in such a way that your life fails to give glory to God.
Think on this, failing to receive the glory God gives, or failing to imitate and be like Him.
God was speaking to me specifically about the financial provisions He has for us that equips us to accomplish
His will. But you and I know it refers to every promise and blessing that is "yes and amen" in Christ Jesus. Webster's New Dictionary defines promise: n. 1. A declaration assuring that one will or will not do something
2. Something promised. 3. Indication of future excellence or success. It also means to afford a basis for expecting.
Expecting, seeing (visualizing) is a major key to receiving the manifested fulfillment of ALL He has promised to us. God has given us His Word! He will do what He says. Believe Him, expect it, and think, talk, act like it is so DONE!
We must not fail to reach and to receive what Jesus purchased for us!
We
have a world of sinners to save, His Kingdom to build, and His
church to establish.
We must "BE FREE IN 2003" and reach and receive His ultimate glory.
By His grace we will not come too late, we will not fall short of His glory!
Indeed, we are to
"BE FREE IN 2003" from ALL bondage that would hinder us in anyway.
Free from sickness, worry,
lack financially, insecurity, works of the flesh, anything that would keep us from fulfilling our God-given responsibilities in these days.
The number one reason we are to prosper and be in health, and go forward in His destiny is spoken by Paul in Galatians 1 :24, "And they glorified God in me." When they saw and heard ALL that God had done for, in, and through Paul, they gave great glory to God.
It is
time
to take inventory of our lives and to ask ourselves if we are allowing God to do "ALL things" for us
in ever-increasing measure so that people who see us and hear about us give great glory to God.
Can you and I say, "And they glorified God in me"? Does our life reflect His blessings?
January through May has especially been given to us as a time to take inventory. If we fall short, adjust and make changes. "Nothing is beyond my power in the strength of him who makes me strong" (Philippians 4:13
The Bible From 26 Translations). As you know, the King James Version says, "I can do ALL things through Christ which strengtheneth me."
"ALL" is
"ALL", and means "ALL"!
Speaking of Joseph, "And his master saw that the Lord was with him, and that the Lord made ALL that he did to prosper..." (Genesis 39:3). The Lord is with us! Therefore, as we believe His Word and trust Him,
He will make ALL we do to prosper. Others will see and know...and glorify God in us.
When God tells us to do something, He backs us up in every way. He fights our battles for us. He secures
us as He secured Joshua. No one will be able to hold his own against you as long as you live"
(Joshua 1:5 The Bible From 26 Translations). "...in ALL these things we are more than conquerors... "
(Romans 8:37). In Him, no one and no thing can stop us from accomplishing
God's will.
When God has spoken, that settles the issue.
Joshua relied upon one thing ALL through the time of his leadership. He assured the people over and over
"they could do it" because the Lord had spoken. Joshua relied completely upon the promise of God.
By believing God's Word he expressed his confidence in the integrity of God. The
Word of God was Joshua's guarantee of faith in God.
It is always Satan behind the question, "hath God said?" We need to respond as Jesus,
"It is written".
We may not know everything, but when we know God's Word, that is sufficient! Speak the Word!
God-given faith goes forward on the authority that is stated in Hebrews 13:5,6 "...for God himself has said...So we can say without any doubt or fear..." (The Bible From 26 Translations).
How can we be so bold and confident? Again let's look at God's conquering leader, Joshua. "And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of ALL the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; ALL
are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof" (Joshua 23:14). God's Words come to pass. That's why we can be bold!
I can't help but rejoice in the Word of God that promises in Joel 2:25 that He will restore ALL that has been stolen from us. This promise is directly related to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, as we pray in tongues
one hour every day, we will see restoration of ALL that concerns us. ALL will be well. His Word will not fail.
David was devastated at what the enemy had stolen. As he encouraged himself in the Lord, he displayed
his total and absolute dependence on God. David asked, "...Shall l pursue these bandits? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover ALL" (First Samuel 30:8
The Bible From 26 Translations).
It is time to take our authority in the Name of Jesus, use the sword of the Spirit
~ the Word of God,
on the basis of the all-powerful blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, and conquer the forces of the thief
who has come to steal, kill, and destroy!
Be Strong! Be Bold! Be Courageous! Advance!
Praise and prayer makes a way where there seems to be no way. "I will bless Yahweh at ALL times, his praise shall be on my lips continually; I seek Yahweh, and he answers me and frees me from ALL my fears" (Psalm 34:1,4
The Jerusalem Bible). The psalmist further declares, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from ALL
their troubles. A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them ALL" (Psalm 34: 17, 19
The New International Version).
Why do troubles confront the righteous? Because we have an adversary. But, "...He who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world" (First John 4:4
The Amplified Bible). "The Lord is good to ALL: and his tender mercies are over ALL his works. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over ALL is rich unto ALL that call upon him" (Psalm 145:9, Romans 10: 12).
That means you and it means me!
Yes, the fact is, we all face problems. But, in ALL problems God has provided the way of escape. Our part is to build ourselves up on our most holy faith by praying in other tongues (Jude 20; Ephesians 3:16; First Corinthians 14:4). We should also meditate and speak such scriptures as we find in this teaching.
This strengthens faith in our hearts.
Yes, the Truth is, God has given His angels to minister to and for us.
Because you have made the Lord
your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, There shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent. For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend
and preserve you in ALL your ways [of obedience and service].
Psalm 91 :9-11 The Amplified Bible
God's angels are part of our inheritance as heirs of His salvation. "Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation?"
(Hebrews 1:14 The Amplified Bible).
"But, Bobbie Jean, how can I get God's angels to work for me?"
Remember Psalm 103:20. "Bless the Lord, ALL you his angels, you mighty in strength, who do his bidding, obeying his spoken word" (The Bible from 26 Translations). The angels minister for those who are faithful to God. Those who are faithful in meditating His Word, feeding daily on His Word and in fellowship with Him.
Those who speak the Word and keep their tongue from speaking fear, doubt,
unbelief, criticism, and gossip. Those who pray in tongues. Those who live
a lifestyle of thanksgiving, praise, and worship to God.
Those who won't allow "trash" or what grieves God to enter through their
ears, eyes, mouth, or thoughts.
The pure in heart, soul, and body. The angels respond to the Name (the
authority and the character) of Jesus. My blessing and prayer for
you is Ephesians 3: 17 -20 from the Amplified Bible:
May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide,
make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love
and founded securely on love, that you may have the power and be strong to
apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God's devoted people, the experience of
that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it]; [That
you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves]
the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience];
that you may be filled [through all your being] unto ALL the fullness of God
[may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly
filled and flooded with God Himself)! Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of the
[action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His
purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above ALL that we [dare]
ask or think definitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams] - To Him be glory
in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout ALL generations forever
and ever. Amen (so be it).
AMEN!
