Miracles & Seven Hours of Uninterrupted

Intercession ~ In Other Tongues!

   I have shared the following testimony concerning Guatemala all over the world, and all over this nation.  In the September Intercessors’ Conference in 2003, I was led to teach the people a principle from the Word concerning those who ‘hear’ what God is speaking and are quick to ‘obey,’ and who therefore position themselves for promotion in the things of the Lord.  Two churches have recently communicated with me, there awsome testimonies, which resulted from being inspired by the Holy Ghost to do as the people of Guatemala did, and in 'hearing' and 'obeying' promptly, victories have been and continue to be reported.

    It is my privilege to share the original testimony of God’s miraculous answer to His Guatemalan people as they prayed for seven uninterrupted hours in other tongues, and the subsequent testimonies of these two churches in America.  God is meeting His people as they give themselves over to the Holy Ghost, praying together uninterruptedly for seven hours in other tongues.  God’s leading for each is diverse in some aspects, similar in others, but it is the same Holy Ghost, and the same Mighty God Who gives the results!

   July 7, 2003 marked the 20th anniversary of Guatemala's freedom from a previous history of violent blood-bath coups d'etats.  Twenty years earlier, in 1983, God told me to go to Guatemala on July 6, 1983, and to lead His people in seven uninterrupted hours of praying in other tongues on July 7,  from 5:00 pm until 12:00 midnight, (At that time, I did not know why God was sending me to Guatemala on this mission!)

   The military was planning a blood-bath coup that was imminent, intending to bomb the church where the national leadership attended, killing the born again president, many born again heads-of-state and many Guatemalan people. The heads-of-state were aware of this plot, and they had no way to avert what sources had confirmed as the coming violent takeover..  I was picked up at the Guatemala City Airport on July 6 and taken to the home of one of the heads-of-state, who asked me, “Why are you here?”  I told them what God had spoken to me to do.  The President of the Congress responded immediately, “I will get the building, and gather the people.”

   The President of Congress then told me that as we came before the people for this time of seven hours of praying in other tongues, that he and the apostle of a 25,000 member church would stand on either side of me, and place their authority on me, for that was the only way the people would follow my leadership. 

   After seven hours of uninterrupted intercession in other tongues, the coup was averted!  In a country with a long history of political upheaval through such bloody coups, prayer availed much, and their intercessors have kept that victory for the past 20 years!

     Pastor Ron Crum

   The following testimony is submitted by Pastor Crum of the King's River Worship Center of West Virginia.

   As Bobbie Jean spoke in our service on October 25, 2003, she mentioned a seven hour prayer meeting which she led in Guatemala in July 1983.  At that instant, the Holy Spirit spoke to me to schedule such a prayer meeting for King*s River, and it resonated in the hearts of many of the people as well.  So, on Saturday, December 6, 2003, the people of King's River embarked upon their first seven hours of "praying in the Spirit" with over two-hundred in attendance. We have been so encouraged by the results, we have scheduled another seven hour prayer time for this spring!

   Jackie Smith, the King’s River Prayer Event Coordinator contributed the following about that day.

   When God called us to a seven hour prayer meeting, we had never had a meeting like this before, and were going into it totally dependant upon God.  One of the things the Lord directed us to do was to use musicians that knew how to flow prophetically in worship, instead of using recorded music. We also had the prophecy that Bobbie Jean gave us (along with another Word that had been spoken over our church) recorded, which we then played at intervals during the seven hours.

   As the musicians played in the Spirit, people came up to the microphone, one by one, to pray in tongues as the rest of the people prayed in tongues throughout the room, which kept the people encouraged and praying continuously.  At one point, the worship leader began praying a song in tongues.  The longer we prayed, the stronger we became, and had a sense of great victory.  It was wonderful!  We were joined by another church as well.  We learned the power of praying in tongues and the unity it brings.  Since only the Holy Spirit knows what is being prayed, no man gets the glory, but God alone!

   One part of the prophetic word that Bobbie Jean spoke dealt with not fearing the transition from a pastoral into an apostolic church, and we believe as a result of this time of praying in tongues, Pastor Crum stepped into that calling in a deeper way to be the apostle God has called him to be.  By Holy Ghost instruction, He drove over 1200 miles in a three day period to see three men in order to release them in a fresh anointing and bring healing to them.

   We are seeing the results of this prayer time every week.  Thank you, Bobbie Jean, for coming to St. Albans, West Virginia and for sharing your experiences with us.  Much hope and strength have been brought to this body of believers as a result.

     Barbara Plilar

  The following testimony is submitted by Pastors Russell & Barbara Plilar of Seedtime & Harvest Church of San Diego, California.

   We knew it was “Our Year to Soar in 2004,” yet at the beginning of this year, we were faced as a church with many challenges.  The first week in January of 2004, we spoke with Bobbie Jean of our dilemma, and she said, “You need to hold an all church prayer meeting much like the one held in Guatemala City, praying seven uninterrupted hours in tongues.” 

   On Sunday, January 25, 2004, from 1 pm until 8 pm, we planned to hold such a prayer meeting, and began to fast in preparation.  Pastor Sandra Bibb was teaching the people in the Sunday School hour on decisions to stand against the flesh as we pursue a decision that will bring us closer to God, which helped to under gird many and establish us in our decision to fast, to resist the flesh, and to      pray, expecting God's "More in 2004."  Altogether, one-hundred individuals came and stayed, praying continuously for the entire seven hour period.

   Prior to each hour, Pastor Barbara (also the Director of Music) would exhort the "Fresh Fire" worship team to come forth with several songs to precede each hour of prayer.  Paul Spahr also helped encourage the prayer time by outlining "Seven Points to Prayer," one point for each hour that brought focus as we prayed.  The prayer points included amongst other things national, state, and local government, and for all those in authority over us; revival for our city; souls, families and marriages; God's vision; and specific church needs, including a picture posted of the rendering of the proposed new location for the church. During the prayer time, several linked arms and surrounded the picture, coming together in strong intercession, travail, and weeping. 

   We were joined as well by our good friends and co-laborers of the West Coast Christian Center of Vista, California for several of the seven hours. Throughout, the people remained vigilant, determined, and were filled with joy, having an excited expectation to see God fulfill His Word.

     At the 8 pm conclusion of the prayer time, the Spirit of Prophecy hovered over us and for the next two hours, we prophesied over each individual.  Confirmations, answers to prayer, and major deliverance came to the people.  We so appreciate our people, and our daughter Christy, who labor daily with us in the ministry.  The people have expressed an interest to continue to hold such prayer times in the months to come!

 These are some of the testimonies that have flooded in following the 7 hour prayer time in other  tongues:

   ~ One young lady unfamiliar with the move of the Holy Spirit, fell out under the power of God  and began speaking with other tongues.

   ~  A counselor/psychologist received breakthrough, moving out of the natural and into the supernatural when counseling.

   ~  One lady has had her poems selected to be published in book form and CD.

   ~ One young man in the Special Forces had been ordered to Iraq, and 'at the last minute' a change came to station him in Germany for two years instead.

   ~ Many financial, business and job breakthroughs have come 'suddenly' for our people, including job promotions, a business owner received strategies enabling him to work 'smarter,' not 'harder,' others have been launched following prayer into  new businesses and into overseas ventures, one man became designated to be groomed to take over the company upon the retirement of the owner, this church received supernatural favor with property managers, and supernatural provision for a wedding, reception and honeymoon came in.  Also,  a gentleman standing in faith for six months for a better job~ two weeks following 7-hour prayer time he received an excellent job with very good pay and benefits, another had a door close on a job, and within four days became employed by an excellent firm with more pay and better benefits.

   ~ Many healings have manifested including  three ladies with diabetes, who have experienced miraculous healings, restored vision, blood sugar level restored to appropriate levels without the aid of medicine, and their energy is now abounding.  One of the ladies with diabetes had been diagnosed as needing surgery, and then assured she would need to be on dialysis for the rest of her life.  She was given this  final report following the prayer time, the diagnosis was reversed: NO SURGERY NECESSARY, NO DIALYSIS NECESSARY, and her health improved immediately; another person had accelerated  improvement after disc surgery, and still another came through exploratory surgery with 'flying colors,' ALL TESTS NEGATIVE.  

   ~ Trust and confidence in God are being restored, and people's faith is being 'jumpstarted! '

Praise God, for HE IS WORTHY TO BE PRAISED!!!
