Partners in Fellowship

For 30½ years God has proven faithful to me in the ministry that He has ordained and chosen for my life, through faithful and committed partners.  Truly, He has fulfilled His Word, “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.”

Partners have also been given the vision and cause to “go ye into all the world, preaching the Good News with signs following”.  Because of partners in fellowship ~ we have, and we are, and we shall ~ obey God’s commission.  Thank you!

Dianne Coats is a minister and a friend of AGL.  I received the following testimony in regards to her experiences following one of our Upper Room Assembly Meetings here in Toccoa, G.  I thank my God for her, and for each of you that have helped me throughout the years.

Our partners in fellowship will receive a CD teaching for each month’s partnership, in gratitude for faithfulness and for the purpose of His call to mentor our partners.  We pray for you, and we will protect you with the shield of faith.  God is your shield and exceeding great reward.

Turnaround Offering

            I have a mission work in Haiti that involves an orphanage in Port-au-Prince.  Three years ago the roof began to collapse due to age and several storms.  The fund raising began with little results, and after three years it was rather discouraging.  The finances were slow in coming.  When I made plans to attend one of the Upper Room Assemblies in Toccoa, GA in July of 2007 at A Great Love Ministries, I had to borrow the money to make the trip.

            Apostle Merck, sensing the leading of the Holy Spirit, gave special instructions concerning a ‘Turn Around’ offering to be taken up in a meeting  relating to the date 7/07/07.  I thought I probably would have to write a check for $7.00, and was embarrassed to do that.  I opened my check book and found that I had more money than I had thought. I wrote the check for $70.00.  The minute I finished writing the check, I realized that I had forgotten to deduct the $200.00 I had borrowed to come to Toccoa.  My heart sank into the bottom of my stomach, and I thought to myself that I couldn’t give this money because I was actually into the little reserve I kept in this checking account.  I certainly was not standing in any great faith at that moment, but I knew that I could not tear up that check that I’d written to A Great Love, so I put it into the offering with much “fear and trembling” ~ and very little faith!

            My friend and I had quite a conversation in the car on our ride back to Indiana about this mess I had made in my checking account, and she as well was really stretched by the check she had given.

            I ministered several Sundays later in southern Indiana, and was handed a check from that church for $10,000 to fix the roof of the orphanage.  Within two or three weeks I received a check from a small foundation for $5,000 for the ministry, and shortly after that I received a check for $800.00 from a company here in Indianapolis that tithes from its profits!  I am a little overwhelmed, but so grateful to the Lord for honoring that offering to A Great Love.  This ministry has had some miracles from God, but this one tops it all!

            I appreciate so much Apostle Merck’s obedience, it certainly has blessed the ministry God has given me.  What an offering, and what a turn around!  God bless!
