A New Heart

In March of 2008, Bobbie Jean came to Faith Outreach Church. After a time of worship, our pastor, Pastor Carstens stood before us and announced that God was going to heal someone’s heart. I had been to the doctor recently, and she had told me that the left side of my heart was working too hard, and she had me tested for congestive heart failure, which indeed was indicated by the results of the testing.

            During the church service, Bobbie Jean asked if anyone needed prayer for a new heart. Since I did, I stood. As she prayed for me, it felt as if a fist hit my heart, and immediately I fell under the power of God. I believed then that I was healed.

            I returned to my doctor, and as she listened to my heart, she said, “I don’t hear what I heard before”.  My two month follow up resulted in all tests being ‘clear’ - my heart was medically diagnosed as being sound and normal.

            My family and I are praising God for this wonderful gift God has given me!
